The TurboDrive™ is a speed-increasing drive adapter designed for Tormek T-8 machines, giving you another way to tune your sharpening setup to the way you work.
Comes with 2.5mm allen key and 1mm spacer/washer (if needed). Easy to install, simply remove drive wheel, slip on theTurboDrive™ sleeve over the electric motor drive shaft (see images), replace the drive wheel. Add 1mm washer if needed to space drive wheel out for clearance (not needed on every machine but there if you need it).

You'll receive
- the TurboDrive™ speed increaser for the Tormek T8,
- a 2.5mm allen key for doing up the grub screws,
- 2 grub screws for locking the TurboDrive™ to the output shaft of the electric motor on the Tormek T8 and
- a 1.5mm washer for spacing the drive wheel away from the machine in order to make sure the rubber drive wheel lines up perfectly with the knurled surface if needed.

A quick note about your Tormek warranty:
TurboDrive™ is an aftermarket accessory and isn’t made or endorsed by Tormek, so using it may affect the manufacturer’s warranty.
That said, I’m very confident in the T-8. It’s an extremely robust, well-engineered machine designed for demanding, continuous use. I use TurboDrive™ on my own T-8 and have experienced no adverse effects. Based on my own use and experience with these machines, I don’t envisage it causing any problems when used as intended.
Please keep the warranty point in mind before ordering.
